Healthy living means being happy! What makes you happy?

Don't forget that healthy living means a happy and positive lifestyle. What makes me happy and positive? Lots of things..... But being on a relaxing holiday with the people you love sure makes me happy and healthy!

If it makes you happy- do it!

A salad quinoa mix. For those of you not so full of beans.

This is another mix I bulk prepped for the week. I had this during the first sunny days of spring in the garden with soya sausages and vege burgers. BBQ stylee!!

This one is quinoa cooked and cooled.
With diced red cabbage, cucumber, onion, peppers and tomatoes. But you can literally put anything in with it.

Mix with all the herbs and spices you wish for!

It's your choice.

Nutritionist research and reading

This book is ridiculous! As in amazing!

If you want some inspiration to get skinny then please read.

However be warned- if you eat meat and are not open to plant based living you probably won't enjoy it.

But if that is the case - I encourage you even to read it even more!

Which brings on the debate.... Do YOU actually know what you are putting into your body? Do you really KNOW that the diet you follow is healthy? Or do you just follow the trend of fad diets? Do you know the effects meat protein has on the human body??.......... Etc etc etc ;)

Imagine a snickers bar without the crap and junk aspect- Sofit's got it!!!

Simples:

You will need some Organic medjool dates and organic whole earth peanut butter. And that's it.

Deseed the date and stuff it with the pb.

Sit down & enjoy what you are about to experience!!!!

Yes this is also amazing with a teeny tiny corner of dark chocolate in the PB.... But don't go overboard!

Sunday prepping to last a week. Beans and quinoa mix! This is so good!

Just throw it all in- literally!

Quinoa, bulgar wheat, or both.
Chick peas, kidney beans, butter beans, any beans, ALL the beans! And lentils!
Cooked and cooled.

Diced tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, celery, kale, mushrooms, onion, garlic and chilli.
Cooked or raw.

Veg out!!!

Diced cucumber, spinach, spring onion, lettuce, watercress, rocket. Any salad!

Literally it all tastes good!

Mix it up, whack it in the fridge and portion it out daily for a fast food minus the junk aspect meal!!

A healthy start

Welcome to my brand new blog...

I decided to make a blog back at Christmas to post all of my healthy recipes that I had created whilst living at home, but I never used it after becoming addicted to Instagram. So I will eventually get them all up here- it's worked out well because I have some amazing clean versions of traditional English hearty grub just in time for the cold months fast approaching! But don't worry I have plenty of clean and light options for meals too! I even started clean baking and have a few recipes to share!! Woohoo!

Instagram has had me seriously addicted (find me at: sophiejadeoz) to posting food pictures, motivational and positive quotes. So I have decided to set up this blog so I can post unlimited amounts of it and my feel bad for clogging up the feed....

So here it is, my blog, sofi aka sofit's personal diary into my healthy & positive living plan!

Hope you likey!

VEG OUT- Just for the health of it..... Sj xxxxxxxx
